According to the law, a metrological check (MTK) must be carried out on your tonometers every 2 years at the latest. This is where the safety inspection of your ophthalmic equipment also comes in handy. Experience how uncomplicated a technical check can be – with BLOCK OPTIC.
METROLOGICAL CONTROL
Thanks to modern mobile measurement technology, we test, maintain and calibrate your tonometers on your premises and during operation. After a visual and functional inspection, our medical technician prepares a detailed test report in the correct form with the measured values, the test methods used and the justified results for your non-contact tonometers, applanation tonometers and impression tonometers.
We carry out inspections in accordance with the Medical Devices Act (MPG) and the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (§ 14 MPBetreibV).

Safety inspection
The safety inspection (STK) of your devices is carried out in accordance with the Medical Device Act (MPG) and the Medical Device Operator Ordinance (§ 6 MPBetreibV) as well as DIN EN 62353 incl. DGUV A3 and VDE 0751-1 for ophthalmological devices of medical device class 1.
