All examination and refraction units, our patient chairs, device carriers and visual signalling devices are developed, designed and manufactured at Block Optic Design GmbH sites in Dortmund and Velen-Ramsdorf in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, by experienced employees with many years of experience. The result of the high level of expertise and our many years of experience are products that meet even the highest demands of a practice.
The products from Block Optic Design GmbH combine modern technology, ergonomic functionality and an attractive design to create an ophthalmological examination unit that meets the highest standards. The telescopic table, the phoropter arm and the patient chair can be individually adjusted to each patient and offer both the patient and the examiner maximum comfort. The examination and refraction units from Block Optic Design GmbH can also be used to examine and provide medical care to wheelchair patients in their wheelchairs thanks to the optional chair adjustment.
The modular design of our examination and refraction units allows the unit to be customised, both in terms of the technical equipment and the colour and surface design. Thanks to the wide range of colours and surfaces, the units and patient chairs can be adapted to any practice design. Block Optic Design GmbH only uses materials that are known for their durability and high mechanical quality. All surfaces fulfil the requirements for hygiene and resistance to wipe disinfection. This also applies in particular to the patient chairs and equipment carriers from Block Optic Design GmbH.
The Binophor vision testing device and the devices of the Polaphor family are developed at the Dortmund site and manufactured by our technicians and engineers. The software for these devices is also programmed by our software development department and is constantly being further developed in order to adapt the devices to technical progress.
Our graphics department creates practice brochures and advertising materials for our customers on request. The corporate design of Block Optic Design GmbH, as well as the planning of our exhibition stands, is also created in collaboration with our architect and our designers. We also offer the planning of your practice rooms and the electrical planning for new practices, so that it is ensured that the function of our examination and refraction units is fully guaranteed. The distribution and arrangement of the examination and refraction units can be visualized by means of a 3D representation of the planning.
We ensures that the examination and refraction units, patient chairs and device carriers meet the high requirements for a medical device, for example in terms of the safety of the electrical/electronic system, but also with regard to cleaning and disinfection.
